The Wild One

Last year Jan planted sunflowers. It was a successful project and we had quite a few scattered around the garden, However, one looked different to all the others. It was darker, a little smaller, and produced smaller sunflowers lower on the stem. 
We didn't think much about it at the time.
This year we didn't plant sunflowers at all, but a whole crop came up anyway and I'm fairly sure they all originate from that strange 2021 sunflower. The flowers are smaller and darker and they are late in flowering, but here's the second one to make it into bloom. Definitely a wild one!
