Duck on a Cold Moss Roof
Saw this little duck on a walk around Grassington this morning. It's a really nice village, grey Yorkshire stone buildings, and a cobbled Main Street and square. I always think it'd be great to live there, then John reminds me I'd be bored stiff after a day. Still it was nice for the weekend. We got out to the pub for a couple of glasses last night. Everyone in there was over seventy, perhaps another reason why not.
Rose enjoyed herself but seems to have come down with a cold now. Feel sorry for her, not well at all. She's asleep now though.
Sticking with the duck theme (look away Betty) John made me a lovely Duck a l'Orange tonight, on the eve of my return to work. Nice husband. He explained I was lucky to have him.
