Hedge flower

I started off this morning with the intention to cut a hedge at the side of the house.  This flower is a reminder of the remaining flowers on the plant.  Once I started cutting, I realised that the fence behind it needed some repairs, so I just carried on.  The extra shows some of the cut branches.

I then tried to take the cut wood and branches to the civic amenity site.  Unfortunately, I arrived 5 minutes after it had closed.  One of my jobs tomorrow morning is to make another attempt to drop off the waste material down there again.
