Ludgershall castle

While waiting for a certain someone to complete an epic marathon across Salisbury plain, I killed time exploring the Wilts/Hampshire border and came across a ruined castle at Ludgershall. Impressive earthworks and a short walk around it but not much left of the castle.

Took a number of shots in the glorious sunshine on my little phone camera. Opted for this one, as it's a rather against form piece with the castle on the left facing slightly away. Makes it look rather strange. I quite like it.
