A rather blustery day!

High winds dominated the whole day. We did intend to do Blencathra, but the forecast was for wind gusts at lake level of 49 mph, so double it for the altitude and we though it wise to stay low.

Did get a few moments of sunbeams over Catbells, while trying to stand up, though a firm tripod did help. A little stopper (6-stop) and a .9 ND grad gave a slightly lengthened exposure to allow a touch of movement on the water but short enough to keep the clouds and sunbeams sharp.
