We‘d popped into Bennets for a quick celebratory pint after a victorious tenpin match. Hadn’t been there in years and I‘m happy to say it‘s hardly changed. And the beer was excellent!
Spent most of the afternoon at the allotment working on the new bramble bed. Have cleared it of roots, ground elder, ratgrass, stones & miscellaneous rubbish but now have a conundrum. The soil‘s so rubbish do I stick with the plan or use it for strawberries instead and put the brambles into that bed with its much better soil? The jury’s out.
