Arthur's Seat
We started this morning with so many plans (a run, a trip to St Andrews) which fizzled away to nothing. So after lunch we headed somewhere we had never been together - Arthur's Seat. We only live 14 miles away so it is hard to believe we have never been there in the previous 14 years. It was well worth the climb for the amazing views despite the strong wind and overcast sky.
I said to beloved daughter that it was better than I expected and she replied with, 'It was better than I expected it to be as well but then I expected it to be awful'
I decided to blip this one as the Salisbury Crags reminded me of ancient teeth from that angle and you could almost imagine the ground coming up to bite you (it is an extinct volcanic site). It is better than the windswept family shots from the top.
Now just worried about getting to the top with the running club on a Tuesday......
