Dried roses

A very windy grey day today.  I didn't fancy going outside today as the weather is so uninviting.  These roses are slowly ageing and drying out in a vase indoors and so have a lot of texture in their petals.  For wide wednesday with its theme of texture.  

I will be going out later today though for Zumba class and then a speaker at the photo club.
