The Graduate

We had given up hope of a formal graduation ceremony for Sarah, but the college has finally caught up with all the missed events.

It was a really lovely day, we were so proud of her achievements. A couple more pics in extras. Tonight we celebrate with a meal at the local Italian, and tomorrow we see David for the first time since the wedding so all is good.

To top it all off, my mother is tomorrow being transferred to a care home very close to home, so my stepdad can easily visit her. Her brother was a resident there in his last few years, so it’s somewhere she’s familiar with. This is the best result we could have hoped for at this stage, we are all very relieved and grateful for every single person in the NHS who has helped take care of her in the last 3 months.
