Along the Quayside

We met up with my niece and nephew, Jen and Richard, in Exeter today, he's visiting from Kuala Lumpur. They came down to see my sister in law yesterday and we arranged to meet for lunch at Rockfish on their way back home. I hadn't realised that Richard is not so keen on fish or I might have chosen a different restaurant but I think he enjoyed his burger!

It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge today (hosted by Bobsblips) and the theme is Texture. Looking across the river Exe is the historic Quay once a thriving international port exporting woollen cloth. There's a wealth of texture in its brickwork, wooden doors, pavements etc as well as the reflections in the water. Nice to see the activity there as well.
