Dead centre

We said goodbye to Jen and Pete this morning and, after they had left for work and we had packed the car, checked everything in the house was good before driving home.  I paused at the window as I was sure there was a wren flitting around the garden, and spotted two.  I had the wrong lens and settings but I know there is one of the wrens there in the middle of the apple tree!

It was an uneventful journey home with a pause for lunch at a much quieter Tebay, thankfully.
