This is the extension of the walk from Monday, when we stopped at the  Gunpowder Mill path rather than continue on the railway to the viaduct over the North Esk.

Today, although the weather was not conducive to admiration of autumn colour, we began at Dalmore Mill (now a housing estate) in Auchendinny and walked to our previous stop.

In doing so we discovered the Three Hares Community Woodland entrance and, a little further along, Musical Forest (part of the Three Hares) in session; this opened only ten days ago (however, we were concerned about the apparent difficulty of the access).
