This picture doesn't really do justice to how inviting the window of this relatively new vintage shop on Leith Walk looked in the fading late afternoon light. Originally a pop up in Vintiques, it now seems to be its own thing (see instagram for more details).

It was always going to be a Leith Walk shop as a blip, as I walked the entire length of the Walk in order to get to my hair appointment down by The Shore. Buses didn't seem an option.

After my hair cut, we went to The King's Wark, as I'd had a yearning for a burger yesterday, so booked a table. It was pretty good. And then walked back up the Water of Leith in the dark. Luckily it wasn't too spooky.

Now transfixed by the car crash/bin fire that is British politics.
