Wednesday: Fresh Salad

We woke up to a calm and ok morning but it started raining around 9am, wind in the east but not too cold yet.
I had a relaxing morning doing some family history, checking parts of my tree against the book

Fancied some homegrown salad for lunch - I started these seeds off exactly a month ago, I need to transplant them when the weather is favourable

The cucumber plant has been growing since May and this is the second fruit, which I’ve left to grow for a little longer - night temperatures still high enough.
MrD had a busy day of deliveries.
