Making art

It was a busy day day in the studio today; six of us making art for the upcoming exhibition. The photograph is of my friend J busily screenprinting. It's nice when it's busy and even nicer when we sit down for a cup of coffee and a bit of chat.

Back at home there was just enough time for a sit down before it was time for our weekly writer's group meeting.  One of the group is doing an MA with the Open University and it is interesting to provide a bit of early feedback on her assignments, hear how it's going and see pieces develop. All in all a great learning opportunity for the rest of us.

This evening I watched the penultimate episode of Doc Martin. It's definitely run it's course but it will still be like saying goodbye to an old friend. I gave the 10 o'clock news a miss - the garbage from Westminster is more than I can stand at the moment.
