Back at the BnF today for the day, and this is one of the things I was reading there. Because it was a bit fragile, I was assigned a nice desk at the hemi-cycle, where the librarians could keep an eye on me (presumably).

J went for a bike ride and ended up back at Cycles Alésia to get some work done on a wheel and talk with the folks there.

Tonight J met me at the Mairie du 16ème arrondissement and we heard a very good talk by Pierre-Jean Dufief about the Goncourt brothers' house in Auteuil, on rue Montmorency. Got home for a late dinner.
