Wednesday at the Getty... here we see Travertine, the texture stone that covers much of the Getty Center, that comes from Bagni di Tivoli, Italy. Blocks on the building facades were split apart to create a distinctive rough surface. Fossils or leaves, shells and other objects can be found throughout. (Like Californiagirl)
