A neighbour returns

I received an email recently from an old neighbour to advise that the tenants in their Mother's house were vacating the premises. I totally misunderstood that she was taking their place. We bumped into her today and child #2 helped her moving her cardboard boxes.
It is good to have her back in the neighbourhood.

Meanwhile our eldest who has been visiting the high school to get familiar with it and to do some Home Ecomonics, or HomeEc as they call it, decided that she would make dinner tonight. I have to say, and I am really not one to exaggerate, it is one of the best meals I have had for a very long time. Everyone wolfed it down so we will probably have this again.
