Falling Leaves...

A cold autumn day and lots of falling leaves in the air...I didn't venture out today at all... other than into the back yard... but couldn't resist yet another shot of what is left of the colour out there..It  has been such a  spectacular year for autumn colour...

October is such a beautiful month but it is also the month I lost my dad and then a few years later, my mom, and now the imminent loss of a friend...so it brings with it a lot of sadness too ... 

It is definitely a good time to have close friends and family at hand... talking and sharing is helpful.
