River Blythe, Suffolk

Decided on a new walk up the river Blythe today. Parked up at the church in Blytheburgh and went through the graveyard down to the footpath.
I've driven past this part of countryside twice weekly for many years and long admired it. But to be amongst it breathing it in and hearing it is something I wish I'd done years ago and we only saw someone once we had returned to the church. Flip side to such a wonderful walk was the dog smelling worse than a polecat once she had swam one of the stagnant dykes and then scaring the life out of a pheasant. The tell tale sign was the beard of feathers she was sporting once she appeared out of the reeds.
I chose this scene to blip as I loved the reflection of the rivers edge in the water.
