My First Baby Shower in atleast 55 years

The manager of the bar in our condo and his girl friend had a baby shower today. Guys don't go to baby showers. How do I get excited about a 900 count package of baby wipes or dress that will make the kid look like a street walker or clown. Sorry, but maybe it is just my generation, but guys get grumpy being forced to sit through this kind of thing. Oh well this one is over. Thank goodness for smart phones. The last time I was at a baby shower was when I was too young to stay at home by myself and had to go with my mom. That was at least 55 years ago. If I can dodge baby showers for another 55 years, I will gladly go to the next one. Maybe.
