Train in the Distance

A long walk with friends today took us from near here- Churston- to Greenway and back. Lunch on the way at Lupton House, where volunteers work in the gardens, and there is a glorious cafe. It was good to get away from the news. Grateful to be able to walk these pleasant Devon paths and tracks near the coast, and finish up in the volunteer run Rowcroft Hospice shop and cafe. Thank goodness for these dedicated folk. In the distance- the Dartmouth Steam Railway. It must be half term somewhere. And then it was back to the news.
