It has stopped

Not too keen on walking in the very wet weather, which it has been today. So I thought this expression of "can we go out now" would be appropriate for today.
Actually, they had an early walk this morning before I met my friend for coffee in the M&S cafe in Biggleswade, and remarkably we kept pretty dry.
Then I had another webinar as soon as I got back, so by the time their "round the block" walk came round, it had dried up.
