Cock-up

Last connection in the airing cupboard and I must have subtracted the distance the pipe goes into the fitting rather than add it.
The day didn’t start well either, torrential rain for about an hour - nearly 30mm.
The main surface water drains from the road backed up and the water came backwards up our storm gully and flooded the garden, the garage and came within an inch of flooding the workshop as well.
I managed to get a drain stopper in the surface water gulley and everything subsided in half an hour.
A lot of bailing and mopping in the garage again.
