A Doggie Day in the Pool!

Today's word from the May HeartFreek challenge is Blue. Our plan was after church to spend the afternoon relaxing to rest up for the week. I tried to get a photo of the blue jays at the bird feeder but they flew away as soon as I would step out on the patio. Even with a little cool wind the blue skies and blue water in the pool lured all of us outside this afternoon. So here is my Blue pool water and a Blue doggie float!

It was official the day we brought Fiona and Buttercup home seven years ago, that they would be spoiled, but it really came true last May. Dave was at the pool store buying some floats and spied this blue doggie float. We laughed at the fact you can buy anything for dogs and cats and really thought it might be a waste of money since Fiona's drive is swimming after the ball all the time. The first time we put it in the spa Buttercup jumped in! She so loves it. She is not the swimmer like Fiona and just wants to float and be with us. If you have not figured out who is who, Fiona has a ball in her mouth and Buttercup is sitting pretty beside her.
