Mud,mud,glorious mud....

A wet day. All day .
Kev decided it was too wet to turn up I presume,so once I had been round the cattle,hitched up the dung spreader and mucked out and bedded the sheds with cattle in them.
Also took the skins off the 2 calves I twinned on on Monday. Both mummies are taking them as if they were their own , J14 more so ! Managed to get her out the pen without getting myself killed so I could grab the calf. She didn't need asked twice to go back in to the pen !
A wee job to do with a tractor and trailer at Loanhead this afternoon ,then back down the road to feed the heifers.
It's getting more difficult to out run them to the troughs with the bags of barley thanks to the mud,but survived unscathed.
Still raining tonight,could be worse,could be snow !
