Managed to take this in the brief lull of the storm today. Otherwise it's been pretty much non stop torrential rain. We travelled to  Albufeira after googling things to do in the rain near Lagos. There's a bowling alley there so we thought that would kill a bit of time. Got there and everyone else on holiday with kids in the Algarve had the same idea and there was a four hour wait for a lane. So we didn't bother. Had a wander in the old town but full of football bars etc so we didn't stop long and came back to the villa to watch a film. Really gutted that the weather has turned and rain is forecast for the rest of our time here :0(  was so looking forward to a bit of sun. 

And I really wanted to be busy today as been anxiously waiting for news from home after mums op. As far as the ward nurse could tell us it went as expected. She was on the ward and sleeping when my sister rang. Hopefully get some more info tomorrow.
