Final Book club Meeting

Our final book club meeting was hosted by Anjali Bedi. She served the most delicious authentic Indian lunch! She even dressed in authenic Indian dress to give more ambiance. She served a chicken dish, a rice dish, Cauliflower, Eggplant, yogurt, and bread--for dessert a sweet rice and sweet carrots. Everything cooked and seasoned Indian style. Our book , The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, is a must read for everyone. We had a most interesting discussion. All of us learned from this book! Oprah is going to make it into a movie. Caroline and her daughter, Cathy, are moving to South Carolina. Caroline is the hub of the club; things would not be the same without her!
