View from the bridge

The Millennium Bridge.

I didn’t check that there were still tickets available for today for the Cezanne Exhibition at Tate Modern. Sold out for three days !

No worries. The walk, at around nine a.m., was stunning. The sky, the Thames, the buildings, in ever changing light. If we’d known it was a walk in vain, we’d have missed it.

We headed for the Natural History Museum.

No, not for the dinosaurs (though the world and his wife had packed the place). The attraction was The Wildlife Photography Exhibition. That was a real treat. One of my favourite photos, of a bear that had taken over a derelict building, is an extra.

Lunch at a fabulous Polish restaurant, Ognisko, was also special.

I love London, to visit and explore. It feels good to be back.
