Hats off to ………
I was up this morning at 4 ish drinking chamomile tea and trying to banish the dark thoughts that were creeping in . I then slept until 11 am so really I’ve only had half a day .
I finished the hat last night and sewed it up this morning, I hope it fits little Freya’s beautiful head .
I did some online shopping , following the advice in The Independent newspapers article about SAD lamps I made my choice and placed my order . I also found a very solid looking wheelbarrow made for children, that is also on order . One for our garden and one for a Christmas present for Florence.
I tackled the front garden , made some space and hope to find some wallflowers to plant alongside some bulbs . I’ve more or less left the garden to go wild so I could see what was there . Now I’m going to be a bit more of a dictator ! My main aim is to provide year round food for pollinators so all suggestions will be cheerfully received .
After the unbelievable political shenanigans of yesterday we are looking forward to watching “Have I got news for you “
Should be a laugh, and oh my goodness we need to laugh even if it’s at ourselves .
I am listening to an audiobook , borrowed from the library called “why I no longer speak to white peoples about race . “
It’s very informative and absolutely worth a read or listen .
That’s been my day so far , hope you all have satisfactory weekends and find things to make you smile .
