Steam

A curious day working at Aber Cafe.  Three public trains and a full day Driver Experience, which means the guest driver gets to make two round trips driving the engine.   The first and last trains were quiet but the middle train was quite full and also included two parties of four who had booked a full afternoon tea.  This all overlapped with the DE train and their buffet for 14 people.   A very busy hour in an otherwise quiet day although I was kept busy all morning preparing food.

In Katie's continued absence (still Covid positive and stuck in hospital) Meg came with me today.  Mostly I have to leave her in the car once the public turn up but gaps in the timetable allowed for a walk during the day.  Jamie got back this afternoon, tired but happy after his time away and we're chilling out together this evening.
