Walking to the Swimming Pool

It has come to that time of year when walking to the swimming pool for the 7:00 am start means it is still dark and I have to change my route to avoid unlit areas of the local park.  Even then the footpath I am on in this image is only lit by street lights on adjacent roads so It requires some care.

This was just a phone camera image as I put most of my effort into producing an image for today's Blip Central post.  It is amazing to realise that Blipfoto started 18 years ago.  I've been here for almost 11 years and been involved in helping to run it for almost 7 of those. being in the background has changed the dynamic of using the site; I am nowhere near as driven to create good images all of the time (today's being a classic example).  I record more about my life than just creating attractive images.  I don't comment on other people's journals anywhere near as much as I used to.  If, as we hope, we bring fresh faces into the team behind the scenes, that may change.

As for today, It was another day in front of a computer for work.
