Heavy rain overnight + blocked drains with leaves= flooding. I have just made my first insurance claim in my life- water in lounge- soaked carpets, wet curtains...Both less than a year old. Insurance company very cooperative...Water all through garage too. Blip is my drive and garage...looks like a lake. A neighbour was out at first light trying to clear drains - water mid thigh deep. Got up early to take car across town to have something fixed.....Its been quite a day and its only lunchtime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
