Tohoku Day 3: Record

The last two days touring round and shooting in Tohoku have been a lot of fun but the trip wouldn't be complete unless we saw at least some of the areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami in 2011. We headed to two seaside villages where the tsunami hit and although the debris had long since been cleared up and the surfers and tourists were starting to come back it was shocking to see nothing but building foundations and the odd bit of reinforced wall for as far as you can see.
