What would You Choose?

My sister in law  turned 65 and invited women friends and family to a high tea at Melrose House, Nelson.  Sadly her mother who is 92 had a sore back and didn't come and her sister has covid.  They have known her all her life.  A friend from high school was there and then me.  She wasn't dating the brother in law when I got married but I went to her wedding.  The rest of the women were work colleagues, friends she made through her daughters schools, book club friends and one friend from bridge.  Some of them are in several groups.  It was a lovely afternoon.  Now I can say I have been to a real high tea and not just the one put on by my neighbour.   I will catch up with you all tomorrow.
