La Haine

After introducing this classic to Tuttle Jnr this evening, I forgot how damn good this film is. Quite possibly one of  the finest movies of all time. It's been a while since I last saw it. Breathtakingly shot in monochrome, breathtakingly (literally) laugh out loud funny and breathtakingly shocking at the same time. A nice touch to see three main characters use their own first names in the script too.
To think that this film was inspired by events that occurred in Paris during the 80s/90s (filmed in '94 while riots and killings were still happening) and the same shit still happens today makes ones blood boil...... but, hatred breeds hatred.
