Lake Michigan

Drove 1/2 hour to Muskegon, MI to enjoy the 80 degree weather along a very private beach on Lake Michigan. It felt good to visit. The sand was so warm on my bare feet, all though the water was way too cold, and it was a bit windy. Good place to think, hike, smell the fresh air, listen to the wind and waves, revel in the sunshine. Found a fantastic and cheap restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken with artichokes and angel hair pasta & pesto dish. Yummy!

Came back to the hotel and went out again for the conference's big buffet dinner. Had plenty of vino and a long night of dancing and visiting with friends.
