Runaway Mop

We went to Stratford this morning to meet up with Tom at The Barge and Quarterdeck for a coffee and chat.  It was a much nicer day, weather-wise, than yesterday and pleasant sitting out.

By coincidence this is the weekend Stratford is holding their annual fair, known as the Mop.  This one is the second and smaller of the two fairs held each year, the Runaway Mop.  So part of the town was closed off and there were a lot of people around and the music was loud.  Always quite a spectacle of sound and colour.  We walked back to the car via Wood Street, lined with stalls and rides.
