Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness …. Well it was certainly very misty this morning but it soon became rain.
We met our friend who was recently widowed with his two daughters for lunch. It was a good meal - in spite of the awareness of Ms absence there were lots of smiles and laughter as we remembered her and shared stories.

Edit : The day ended with a big Aurora alert which we missed due to thick cloud however we went out about 10 and managed to catch the end of it. I’ve added an extra:)
