Sweeping up

The op on the eye went as planned although seemed to be different to last time and more painful.  Yesterday I couldn’t see and felt very tired but today the bandages have come off and the headache is receding.  I definitely need reading glasses but need to wait five weeks before seeing the opticians so my cheap £15 pair of specs are coming in handy for short spells.

We went and did some shopping and then P tidied up some of the leaves and the rotten apples. There’s a lot to do in the garden but I’ll have to wait a few days before I can bend down and start clearing up.  Lots of heavy rain last night which has made the earth heavy and the grass a bit soggy in places but it’s dried up well today.
