Foulshaw Moss

Congestion on the way up - a mix of half term, and people heading to the Blackpool illuminations. But we got here in good time.

After some lunch we headed to Foulshaw Moss, always good. Here is a stonechat in its first winter plumage, perched on top of a reedmace stalk. I’ve had to crop the image, but I like the colours, which are very representative of the Moss.
