Today we leave our corner for the main island and negotiate a moped.

Fantastic tarmac road between noisy coloured taxi buses (bemos), banana and palm trees and under blue sky again along the sea shore. And then the road turned into a track; and then a track going up hill; and then a pile of stones going uphill. There is a wheelie moment and I end up over the handlebars, justifying my general paranoia as a pillion passenger.

It's a wonderful ride though, with turquoise sea below and through canopies of different greens. Having survived the ride, I get very grumpy at thought of missing lunch. We don't; it's excellent.
