A VISIT TO STOURHEAD
Clutching my new National Trust Senior Membership card in my hand, I paid a visit to these spectacular gardens. It is in Wiltshire and only 20-30 minutes away from my home. The main photo is of a Tulip Tree. This specimen is a favourite of mine and can give a view of the Pantheon through the overhanging boughs. There are several others in the grounds.
I always like to give myself a challenge and the high viewpoint photograph gives a more unusual view of Stourhead. Finally, a ‘classic view’ of the gardens showing the Turf Bridge and Pantheon.
All in all, an enjoyable morning.
