String driven thing

The sound check is over and we're off to grab a bite to eat, before Avital and Amy play the Jackalope in Manchester. The warmup was Ned the Kids Dylan, who's a hard act to follow. As usual with these pub and cafe gigs, a few people were listening to the music and the rest were concentrating on the serious business of drinking and talking loudly. Still, Avital and Amy played and sang really well, the noisy crowd were through in the bar, and the discerning few really enjoyed the set.
