Barcelona!

The first day of our holiday! We're going to Barcelona for almost a week.
The way to get there isn't the shortest one.
Due to problems at Schiphol Airport, KLM cancelled our direct flight to Barcelona just a few days ago and rebooked us on other flights.
First we fly to Hamburg with KLM, then to Paris with AirFrance and from Paris we finally head to Barcelona. So, we have a long day ahead.
We left home at 08:45 and we hope to land in Barcelona at 22:55.

But, we're all very excited to finally go! We've been looking forward to this trip a long long time. Exactly tree years ago we were ready to go but then on the night before our departure we decided not to, because of the severe Catalonian independence riots that were going on there back then.

This year Bas graduated from high school and as a present to him we gave him this trip, including a tour trough Camp Nou and the football match FC-Barcelona - Villa Réal as well. Bas is huge fan of Barcelona, knows all about the club and whats going on there, so next Thursday (match day) should be the best day of his life so far).
