Unbowed

First amazing still to have a hollyhock in flower on October 23rd and still red admirals in the garden.  Second, even more amazing that it survived the deluge this morning.  41.7 mm of rain in total, 05:00 - 06:00 = 15.2mm, 06:00 - 07:00 = 18.9mm, 07:00 - 08:00 =4.5 mm, 08:00 - 09:00 = 2.4mm. And just before 05:30 the loudest thunder ever!  Mr T slept through it but did wake up shortly after.  We had more thunder and lightning about an hour later.

We're both feeling much better today but have taken it easy, and I've done a bit more on a portrait I'm working on using classical techniques.
