Fungi

It poured with rain this morning so I stayed in and baked my Christmas cake.
This afternoon I went out to look for fungi in the woods by the river. The best ones were to be found closer to home though. There don’t seem to be very many about . These were behind the Village Hall growing on bark chippings. They are tiny and I didn’t see the extremely tiny bug until I looked at the photos at home. Luckily it was an in camera focus stack so it ( the bug) is reasonably sharp.
Extra is a jelly ear fungus with the sun shining through.
