Gardening weekend

Yes, I'm afraid I've rather deserted blip this weekend and am spending most of my time gardening. Fair, I suppose, as last summer I rather neglected my garden for blip! But anyway, the sun got me up early and pottering out, camera in hand, in my jammys while the dew was still doing its twinkly stuff.

So here you have my red camellia. Last year it started flowering 2 days after Christmas, this year not until mid April. Guilty conscience says that's because it's been suffering from under-feeding. I have to keep all my camellias in pots because they don't like the chalky soil round here. My white one is sulking and refusing to flower at all. Hey ho for the Miracle-gro.
