Promising

This morning there was mist lying over the road, but there was sunshine above, which seemed to indicate that the sun would shine today. Unfortunately the day ended up being very grey and wet.
We had a very quiet day with just a visit from our daughter. Our son and daughter-in-law are on holiday abroad at the moment but I expect they will phone tonight as usual.
