We both slept in quite late today, unusual for a weekend. Clearly we both needed it though.

We had a morning walk in the sunshine to pick up a few things, and stopped in VX for a coffee. My gingerbread latte was super cute.

Had a productive afternoon: did 2 loads of washing, repainted the inside of the front door, baked some more apple cake (in cupcake form this time - see extras). We got a text at about 5 asking if we fancied an early pub trip, so headed down about an hour later for a quick one with Bill and Madds.

We’d got a bit grabby in the deli in VX and bought some posh vegan cheese so when we got home we had focaccia and potatoes for dinner, with a baked “Shamembert”. Incredible.
